I love my 640 38 special. I bought it after my wife got spooked one night and got my model 19 out of the safe, cocked it, then was too scared to lower the hammer. (I was out of town.) I put some CT laser grips on it and now it is her "bump in the night gun". I don't have to worry about her...
I will be in the Plano area for work for the next 2 weeks. I am looking for ideas for my weekend. Shooting range, good place to eat, sites to see, etc.
Thanks
One of my grandfathers died before I was born, the other died when I was 2. I would like to go and spend a day talking to them on a back porch.
50/50,probably not, I have a family. If I were single? Yeah, and if I am stuck in the 70's I could live with that.
later
I couldn't help myself.
All this praise of the 617 has me interested, and jealous. I stopped by a local pawn shop last week and guess what? They had a 617-2 10 shot 6" in the case. It was in poor shape, some rust on the hammer, trigger, and the frame. The alum. cylinder was beat up.I got it...
My advice to expecting first timers, "Sleep late as much as you can." This is a revolver section, so a model 17 or 617. I think a model 41 would be great.
Question
I see alot of good looking model 10's on this site. I know that alot have been made, but I have not seen alot of nickel 6 inchers. Are they a rare breed?
Thanks
