In no-carry places much of the time

Short of a metal detector or pat-down, it doesn't concern me. I stay away from those places or disarm. In the vast majority of circumstances, I avoid those places, period. If fish want to gather in a barrel, let them. I'll pass.

Do you carry more than one gun at a time?

I carry two over 75% of the time, but I don't classify either as a back up gun. Either one could be primary response weapon, based upon the threat.

Do you really carry ALL the time?

Only when I have pants on. ;) At the very least, I have a NAA .22 Mag clipped in my front pocket. Most of the time I have something larger as well. What that is varies based on clothing and where I will be. Anyplace I can't at least carry the NAA last resort, I avoid if at all possible.

    Help me spend $30,000

There are a lot of replies to this thread and I haven't read them all, so I may not be plowing new ground here....but here goes. Start with a Ruger 10/22 carbine with a target barrel and iron sights. Also buy a .22 revolver of good quality (S&W, Ruger, Colt, etc.) with a 5-6" barrel. Buy and...

    Bigfoot Sighting

I'm skeptical of most eyewitness accounts of Bigfoot. That said, I'm skeptical of everything told to me by anybody. I would love to have an eyewitness encounter that satisfied ME, whether I shared or documented it or not. I have heard numerous unexplained sounds in the woods while hunting...

    i have to compromise... :(

This is astounding to me. I've not known of 4 10/22's to have firing issues before, much less 4 with one owner. I've only had one, and I still have it. Never failed to feed, fire, or eject. I have some aftermarket 50 round banana mags that I have run thru it regularly as well, and at high speed...

    i have to compromise... :(

I have a skewed way of looking at this I guess, but my logic is sound (to me). If the 15-22 is, let's say $525 and the Mossberg is $275, the the real cost of a 15-22 is $250, the difference between the two. The only way it isn't, is if you have an option for less than the $275. Here's where I'm...

    HAND ROLLING CIGARETTES

I was never any good at rolling my own and I tried more than a few times. My paternal grandfather, whom I never saw smoke because he quit before I was born, rolled his own when he was a younger man. My favorite story in regard to rolling smokes has to do with him. It would have been in the mid...

Is it wrong to sell my stuff for an insane offer?

I have a hard time selling guns, but if everybody was like me, I wouldn't have 20% of what I have. If you are willing to part with something that someone else is willing to pay for, go for it. Especially if you can replace it later should you decide to.

    .22 CB

How many variations are there of the .22CB? Anyone have any experience with these rounds in a .22 revolver? I never liked shooting anything shorter than a .22LR in my revolvers, but this round could be really useful for pest eradication in areas where quiet is preferred and sending projectiles...

    M33-1 (1973)

I have a M36 (1961) and I have a deal worked out for a M37 Airweight of a similar vintage (no exact date yet) from a friend I hope to see in the next few weeks. He also has a M34 that we are trying to come to terms on. I'm not a huge fan of the M38, but I'll track one of those down one day as...
