I have a hard time selling guns, but if everybody was like me, I wouldn't have 20% of what I have. If you are willing to part with something that someone else is willing to pay for, go for it. Especially if you can replace it later should you decide to.

You have a responsibility to yourself and the people who depend on you to not to fritter away your wealth.

I've been considering the same thing as the OP. At the going prices I could part with my 5.7 and an AR but all I would do is turn around and buy something else therefore not freeing up space in the safe.
