    New to appendix carry?

@CB3 that buckle area profile looks pretty big. I’m a thin person and I hate when a buckle sticks out that far, and when my shirt lay against it, it creates a big “shelf”. It looks very unnatural and draws unwanted attention. I carry a Shield in a T1C Axis Elite holster, spare mag, and sometimes...

    New to appendix carry?

Yep that flat, low profile buckle is great. I hate how so many gun belts have these giant *** oversized buckles that print like crazy, drawing unnecessary attention to an area you don’t want people closely looking at. It’s one thing a lot of concealed carriers get wrong. You don’t need an uber...

    New to appendix carry?

I’ve experimented (wasted a lot of money) with a lot of different belts for AIWB. In my experience the best belt is The Foundation Belt by Langdon Tactical. It’s built specifically for AIWB carry, so it’s firm where it needs to be (without being TOO stiff) while also being flexible in the spots...

M&P Shield With and Without Safety

I don’t like thumb safeties on striker fired pistols. I have 2 Shields, a version 1 and a new M2.0. Neither have a manual thumb safety. I don’t want to have to think about flicking the safety off under stress if I need to use the gun. There are many documented cases of people forgetting to flip...

    New to appendix carry?

^^^THIS^^^ Urban Carry holsters are garbage. Stay away from the gimmicky junk like that. I really hope Eric300 was joking with his suggestion of Urban Carry holsters, but I know he was serious. These products are going to get you killed, or you’ll shoot yourself trying to use them. It’s scary...

GREAT PRICE on 2.0 Shield 9mm!!

I don’t think it has much of anything to do with the 365. Every now and then the Shield would go on a great sale like this one, years well before the 365 existed.

GREAT PRICE on 2.0 Shield 9mm!!

Palmetto State Armory is running a great sale today on the 2.0 Shield 9mm, no thumb safety version for $299.99 shipped! This is a fantastic price! Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield M2.0 9mm Pistol | 11808 | PSA Especially if you missed the $50 rebate period that ended already, now is your chance to...

Good price for Shield 9mm M2.0?

Finally pulled the trigger and got a new 9mm 2.0 Shield without safety (model # 11808). GunBuyer.com had them for $319.99 shipped (no tax). Then with the $50 rebate puts it at $269.99. Plus the $25 FFL transfer fee and I’m looking at $294.99 all in for a 2.0 Shield no safety. I just couldn’t...

Is this damage to Shield magwell?

Hello friends. The other day when cleaning a Shield 9mm v1.0, I noticed what looked to be some material missing from the inside of the magwell. There are 2 wide "lines" that run up and down the side of the magwell, and I noticed where they stop and then start again, and it looks like some of the...

Light primer strikes, slide out of battery on Shield 9mm v1.0

Update: So I called Apex and told them what was happening, and the Apex rep walked me through a list of things to troubleshoot together over the phone. Everything was good until we got to the last thing on the list, and we determined that it is the trigger having too much overtravel. So I took...

Good price on Performance Center M2.0 9mm?

I don't think that's right. The 4.25" length barrel is the standard full size/duty model, sku # 11521. The Performance Center version of that is sku # 11818. The 5" barrel is their "long" version of the above full size. The M2.0 Compacts are 4" or 3.6" barrels, they have versions of both.

Good price on Performance Center M2.0 9mm?

LGS selling the full size, 4.25" barrel, M&P9 M2.0 Performance Center Pro Series, fiber optic sights, no thumb safety, for $510 out the door. Should I jump on this? Or I could also get the standard, non-PC version for $375 out the door.

    M&P9c score

Ah for some reason I though S&W discontinued them when they moved to the 2.0 compact. Good to see they still manufacture the v1.0 9C as a lot of people still like that smaller design.

    Truglo TFX vs Trijicon HD

For my Shield 9, I originally had the U notch Orange Trijicon HD XRs, and later switched them to the Yellow Ameriglo U notch Pro I-Dot. I prefer the yellow I-dots a lot more. I see the yellow on the Ameriglo much better than I did the Orange Trijicon, but maybe it's because the Trijicons were...

    M&P9c score

I have a stock M&P 9C 1.0, no thumb safety, original case, all 3 backstraps, and 5 mags (1 flush fit mag and 4 pinky extension mags). Never had a single malfunction with it. It's in great condition and looks very good no blemishes or anything. How much would this go for if I chose to sell it? Or...
