M&P bodyguard 380-How snappy is it?

Thanks, everyone for your thoughts. I am going to try to find a BG 380 to rent. I hope I can handle it because it's the perfect size to for my shorts which I wear most of the time in Florida. If that doesn't work, I'll try a22 magnum revolver. I don't care if it's not a stopping caliber...

M&P bodyguard 380-How snappy is it?

i want a pocket pistol, but I want to try before I buy. I rented a LCR 38 and shot only 15 rounds at the range. My hand was too sore to continue. I haven't found a BG 380 to rent, so I'm hoping you guys can give me some info on how snappy the BG is. Thanks

M&P22 - excessive rear sight adjustment?

I had a similar problem with my mp 22. When I eyeballed the front sight, it was clearly off center. Also, I didn't like the black rear sight-my old eyes need more light- so I bought some Williams fire sights that I love. I can put a good sight picture on target much faster now. John

    M&P .22 Ammo Ejection Issues

Federal fte My mp 22 has about 1300 rounds thru it, but it doesn't like federal. It likes everything else, even the cheapest Remington. I'll never buy federal again. John

MP22 purchase 1st of many to come!

Mp22 My mp22 was picky about ammo when I first bought it. I have now put about 800 rounds thru it and it now seems much smoother. It shoots rem thunderbolts and golden bullets easily now. I don't know about the ejector issue.

    M&P22 feedback??

MP 22 I bought my mp 22 a few months ago. I used whatever ammo I could find -mostly Remington- and I did have a few fte or FTl. I have now put about 800 rnds thru it and it's as smooth as silk, no matter what ammo I use. I do clean and oil it after the range. I also have an mp-15 22, and it...

    M&P 22lr rear sights

I'm an old guy with eyes that aren't too good. At the indoor range, I have trouble seeing the rear sights which are black with no dots. This leads to trouble putting the front sight midway between the rear sights. Anybody have a suggestion? John

    Problem Loading Pistol

First round jam I've had the same problem. I found that if the top round in my magazine is angled slightly upward, it feeds properly. If the top round is lying flat, I pull down the load assist button and let it go. This tends to put the top round in the correct position. Anybody else notice...

    Too Many Mags???

15-22 mags Thanks for the tip about 44mag. I ordered a couple, but they were out mags for the M&P 22lr pistol. Anybody know of a source for them? John

    Bore snake

I use a rifle cleaning rod with a patch soaked in Hoppes #9 , and run the rod back and forth thru the bore. Then I use the snake, and then I put a little gun oil in the bore using a patch. I have never put bore cleaner or oil on the snake, but I don't know any better.
