For real world carry, I like the Safariland Comp II, for fun the spring loaded Comp III is a bit quicker.
Have HKS and Safariland, I feel the Safariland Comp II holds the rounds the most securly when I slip one into my watch pocket.
Around here dickering starts at $550 for a 3" m64 and then goes up or down from there depending on condition, bargining skills, ect .
Figure about $100 less for a m10 3"
Right now they go for $550 all day long if the seller knows his stuff. I've seen LNIB examples go quite a bit higher.
Maybe $450 if you're a sharp or lucky buyer and the seller wants to sacrifice it.
I have several thousand pieces of mixed .38 spl brass that I'd like to get trimmed to the same length.
I've always done my trimming on an old RCBS hand crank job, but it is a long process to trim just 100 pieces that way.
What's everybody's favorite way to speed up the process?
Thanks.
That load of 23.5gr H110 (or W296) under a 240 xtp is my go to load to see if a .44 mag is going to be a good shooter.
Ive yet to find a .44 the wouldnt shoot that load well if it was going to shoot any load well.
Modified Ruger .45 Colt
This has been my only deer gun since about 2000. Although I havent gotten out for the last several years.
Launches a hard cast 260gr SWC at 1250 fps from it's 4.5"barrel.
It will shoot length-wise through a deer at 100 yards.
Can't see needing more gun unless you...
