    Shield .45 Slide Lube

I use Krieghoff gun glide on everything, basically because I have a lot of it, but it works well. Works real good on my M-1 opp rod and receiver too. I'm sure any quality gun grease will work well when used correctly.

I don't know, I have only had it a week. It cleans up nice. Time will tell.

    New To Me Shield

Oh, it's going to be like that..... I was in before computers. I was in so long ago; my helmet was steel, my M-16 didn't have a forward assist, my sidearm was a model 15, I qualified with an M-79, and F-106's were on alert active duty.:D

Some help with Grandfather's LE belt/holster

That looks like a '41 Indian 4. '40 was the year the valanced fenders and plunger rear came out. The only difference was 18" wheel in '40 and 16" in '41. Those look like 16's, maybe. 1942's are unicorns, less then 100 were built before war production started.

    New To Me Shield

I just picked up a 9mm Shield 2.0 Cerakote "used' at my local gun shop. Box, all the paperwork, both mags, and it couldn't have had more than one box put through it. 325.00. I had a little accident with my right thumb, so I have a week or two before I can take her to the range. This is going to...

    Old To Me P228

Well, I'm retiring in two weeks and I received a gift from my boss. I'm being allowed to "purchase" my service pistol as surplus. Other than being a little heavy, its a great gun. :D

    +p+ ammo

Sorry I didn't respond back sooner. Thanks. I'm going to try a few and carry them. We had them from our old .38's we carried in the Fire Marshal division before we went to 9mm's. We kept buying some but now we only have me carrying one when I need a small gun. I should just get a Shield but......

    +p+ ammo

I was going to ask a similar question. I was given 2 boxes of Federal .38 Special High Velocity +P+ 147gr hollow points "for law enforcement only". Anyone have any idea just how hot this stuff is? I any have one .38, a 638 J frame rated for .38+P. Can I use them for carry and a few to practice...

I still have the ammo pouch, belt, keepers and my cuffs. No holster.

Nice. I carried one for four years (SP). They never looked that good. I had the cylinder fall out of one on the range. They were beat. The Air Force got their money out of them.

    I Think It's a Keeper

Ya, I need to go outdoors for that, our range is not that big.

    I Think It's a Keeper

I finally got over to the range to put a quick 50 through my new M&P 9. 10 yards, some slow fire to start, then some rapid fire. I pulled a couple but not bad.
