I just picked up a 9mm Shield 2.0 Cerakote "used' at my local gun shop. Box, all the paperwork, both mags, and it couldn't have had more than one box put through it. 325.00. I had a little accident with my right thumb, so I have a week or two before I can take her to the range. This is going to be by new carry. Now that I retired I've picked up some work as a private fire investigator.

Good luck with your new Shield...I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. It's a good carry gun as is. I have a 9mm 1.0 Shield that I've made many mods to.

You will be very happy with your new Shield. I have been running a G43 for a while as my EDC with a G26 before that. I picked up the Shield with factory night sights and three mags. It has taken over my EDC needs. For me the stippling is perfect and it is very accurate for its size.

They should start giving out infractions for post like this that don't include pics... Pics or it didn't happen!:D

Oh, it's going to be like that.....

I was in before computers. I was in so long ago; my helmet was steel, my M-16 didn't have a forward assist, my sidearm was a model 15, I qualified with an M-79, and F-106's were on alert active duty.:D

I was wondering how durable this factory cerakote finish is?

Don't fret! ha ha. The upside down pic is a mystery I have yet to solve. Sometimes it happens...or not...

Fix it.

Congrats! They are nice little carry guns. I just recently went back to the Shield after trying other options for a while.

Just shot my new Cerakote Shield today and am really impressed with it. For such a small gun it handles extremely well - excellent grip. Now looking for an OWB holster for it - many, many choices!
