    Engraved 627-PC UDR

That is one beautiful revolver! (Has Stainz seen it yet?) ;)

    Night Guard series production totals?

Now that the entire Night Guard line has been discontinued I'm curious to know how many of each model were made. Is this "top secret" information, or is there some way to obtain it? (FYI --but take it for what it's worth, since "I read it on the Internet"-- S&W supposedly produced less than...

    My new S&W 43C

Wow, you actually got one! Good job! Now I really have hope that these are on their way to distributors...

    Where are the 43C revolvers?

Lots of threads here speculating that this model will be available any day now, and a recent one claims it has been entirely dropped from production. It's still a featured J-frame on the S & W site, though, so I still have hope it will turn up *some* day...

The new model 63's with 3" barrels. How are they?

I like mine. I bought it new (Davidson's). It had/has no manufacturing "issues" and is an accurate, fun little shooter.

    Ordered a 627 Neo-"Blood Work" Today

I bought mine NIB in September 2010 and it has the prefix CPF. Congratulations! You're going to love this gun and, like Stainz, be happy to have two (eventually).

Night Guard Owners: "blast shields" holding up?

Thanks for the replies. It was the pictures posted in this thread that ramped up my concerns: http://smith-wessonforum.com/s-w-revolvers-1980-present/72291-396-night-guard-cracked-frame-2.html#post805784 Glad to hear neither of you have had such problems :)

Night Guard Owners: "blast shields" holding up?

I've wanted a 327NG for a while now but that tacked-on stainless steel flame-cutting "shield" above the forcing cone really bugs me. I know some of you have owned Night Guard models that bear this "blast shield" for quite some time, so how are they doing? Had to have a blast shield replaced...

Where are the S&W Night Guards??

There are plenty online. That's where I got mine.

    What if S&W had a make-your-own-revolver program?

Put me down for a 10-rnd 22LR Night Guard built on one of those 315 Night Guard K frames S&W won't be using as originally intended ;)

Are they ever going to be made

Believe it or not, I saw a 43C for sale on one of the major gun auction sites today. (I'd be more specific, but the last time I mentioned one of these places by name I got "moderated".) Have no idea if the auction is legit, but the price seemed fair.

First revolver, 637 or 442? Help me out here...

The 442-1 Pro is a current production no lock model. It's SKU # 178041 and is available for well under $400 NIB. Great little gun.
