Model 627-5 Question

Sure hope this doesnt sound dumb, but I cant find this answer anywhere.
Am trying to fit a holster to my Pro Series 8 shot .357 mag Model 627-5 as noted on the frame.
The barrel measures 4" to the front of the cylinder... so is this a 4" or 5" barrel. Holster places dont seem to know. THANKS in advance!

Yes, you have a 4" barrel. The barrel is measured to the beginning of the forcing cone. I believe the 627 Pro is offered only with a 4" barrel.
