My long wait has been answered

During the course of life you come to realize what comes first. Me and my wife went through some hard times and the first thing to go was the guns, sad thing was that I had to get rid of my very first smith, a 657. But now that we are older and through the Lords blessing of new jobs, I have...

    I replaced my smith, finally

Wish I had a SB snub Model 586 or 686.

I ran across a 586 with a 4" barrel but the blueing was a little ruff and the grips had seen better days. He was asking 450 for it but I just didn't have the cash on me then

    I replaced my smith, finally

Ever since I sold my .41 mag, I have been trying to get my hands on another smith and I finally did. After searching for the right gun I came across a model 66-2. I had to have it. Mostley for the gun but also for the fact it still had the box and everything from when new. I can't wait to go...

To many guns returned to S&W

compared to many other members on this forum, i would be considered a rookie among them. So saying that, it seems that as i scroll through the different threads that i constantly see a steady subject of "sent my gun back to S&W" and having just bought my first S&W revolver it makes me think and...

How about a 41 Magnum Show and Tell?

i traded a Shield 9mm plus $150 for a 657-4. i wasn't really looking for a 41 mag but i had been wanting a S&W revolver for a while after owning a 1911 E, SDVE40, and the shield. great guns but not what Smith and Wesson's claim to fame. i think i got a good deal out of it all in all.

I just traded for my first S&W revolver, 657-4 with a 6" barrel. forgive me if this thread has already been covered but i was wanting to know just a little about the revolver, specifically what improvements or changes were made for the dash 4 models. also if there are any kind of quirks about...
