Altamont rosewood round to square for my 617-6 4". Provides the same grip (for me) as my 586-8 4" with factory wood (both are laminate). The rosewoods also look awesome. Sorry - no pics. Lew

Have a 617-6 stainless and a 586-8 blued. Love both but the 586-8 is my favorite. Keep a light coat of Johnsons paste wax on it which makes it really stand out.

Thanks for all of your responses! According to their MSDS, no. 9 contains <1% each of ammonium hydroxide and diammoniun peroxodisulfate. Not a CE but seems to me to be a rather insignificant quantity of "ammonia". Any other thoughts on this? As for the smell - I use with adequate ventilation...

Don't you just love our NJ one gun every 30 days restriction? It does, however, sound as if you will be allowed to take possession of both guns at the same time. Are there exceptions to the 30 day interval? They are really nice revolvers.
