So far I've really only used target practice ammo with my Shield, but now that I'm thinking about using it for conceal carry, I really would like to know from people with experience, what is a good 9mm round to use for self/home defense.

You know, I was so smitten with the Shield that I put my compact to the side and had a torrid affair with my new purchase. But now I find myself going back to the M&P 9C. You say, it's too heavy/bulky to carry, yeah I hear ya. But there's just something about this gun that feels comfortable.

Shield and Glock 42 Those who say these two guns are the same size are incorrect..the Glock 42 feels like a toy compared to the Shield, but I would say both are great options for discretely carrying in your purse or on your person. Although I can't really speak to the latter as I haven't gotten...
