+1 for Rudy...Some of the finest holsters around, reasonable, even for the exotic leathers.....I can see you have number 18, I have number 72..only about 300 of these made.
I have one, but you can't have it. If you are lucky enough to find one, buy it, according to S and W there were less than 200 made. Rep told me that 196 were delivered to their distributor. I have #0046. It is extremely accurate and a pleasure to shoot.
The presentation case could very well be one from the S & W Website store, They are sold in two or three differnt sizes. I have purchased a couple of them for my revolvers. They have no cut out for the gun, just a plain blue foam insert. They're still very nice.
Absolutely beautiful. I have an older one and it's still very accurate and a pleasure to shoot. Hey "mburger", if you found a 945-40 don't let it get away, only about 300 of those are around.
Below is my new addition, a 945-40 ( number 0046, out of a total of less than 200 as told to me by a S&W rep) . It was filthy when I got it, and it appeared that someone tried to force an incorrect mag into the well and bent the trigger loop, so when you put the mag. in the loop dragged along...
Yep, they still have them, ordered two today from smith ($41 each, ouch !). Also ordered up a Black Hills ostich leg leather holster, should have that in three weeks and the gun later this week, hoping it's as clean as it looked in the pix on line.
I'm in Erie Co. and lifetime licenses here and never an issue with buying, just takes a little drive downtown and you'll have it same day..and just to say Hi to RAYGT3 I'm in Clarence too.
