the shield is thinner than the reg. m&p9. it was made to be an easily concealed carry firearm. it is a fun shooter. just shot it last time i went to the range and it is a fun gun. recoil is not much more than the reg. m&p9.

what do you think of mini-mags for an 15-22?

my preference is the m&p 9c. fits my hand better.

just use a familiar ammo, and recoil shouldn't be an issue.

recoil for a 9mm isn't bad. you can feel it a bit, but it is managable.

i do believe there is an m&p revolver in .38special. check the website just to make sure.

my fav. .22lr ammo that i use in my 1911-22 is: 1. CCI stinger hv 2. Remington Thunderbolt. both are very smooth and highly accurate. when i purchase a m&p15-22 i plan to use CCI AR-Tactical. seen very good reviews.
