If you qualify for military/police pricing (Law Enforcement Officers, Active and Retired Military Personnel, National Guard and Military Reserve Personnel, Firemen, Security Officers, CAP (Civil Air Patrol)) check out Budspolicesupply.com or a local S&W authorized M&P dealer.

I went to bud's and asked about this discount and they told me its not offered on the 15-22 just the 5.56 rifles.

Shopping too early?

Since you are not buying until next year, it's likely that the prices you find now will not hold. Others have recommended good sources to check--I would only add local gun shows to your list.

Good luck!

At the moment those prices arent bad. Id buy it from a place closest by or your most liked gun dealer. But your not buying one for a few months and the rate these guns have been flying off the shelves, prices might increase a hair. So what you really should do is get a credit card and buy it now:) cause your gonna kick yourself for not buying one earlier. Welcome and hope you get to join the addiction, there's no turning back.

just might do that.

I also don't recommend buying the base model without the threaded barrel. If you ever start tricking the gun out you will thank me afterwards (unless you live in a state where they won't let you).

Check Davidson Gallery of Guns. They can give you prices of dealers near you by your Zip code. I show $ 421 and up in my area.

shooters of jacksonville.

they used to have them on their website, not sure what happened. i picked mine up there $389. this was last year though.

the pricing around here has been steady ranging from $430 - 500 and those prices have remained in that range for something like 18 months since I got mine. (compliant model: 10 rd mag, and pinned stock, no threads on barrel.) I wouldn't expect a huge flux in pricing locally.

im actually in jax and have purchased there before. they are such a larger dealer, they offer pretty good prices. not sure about their website though because i couldnt find it a couple months ago. it doesnt hurt to give them a call.

All depends upon where he lives and what's legal there. A threaded barrel, is illegal in both Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as a couple of others. All that can be legally sold on these states are bare barrels with no attachments.

I just got the MOE version from budsguns and I watched the price of that gun rise within a matter of weeks.

It also sells out pretty quick on that site. I would recommend getting one asap.

Dont bother looking till your ready to buy, guns raise and lower daily. Buy wheb you jave the money!

nice. i used them as a ffl for my first xd and a python i bought as a gift, and bought my second xd from them. my 15-22 i found at academy and shooters werent able to get the green so it was an easy choice.

Picked up a base model from my LGS for $409 out the door (including an hour of range time)

I just picked up a MOE from budsgunshop for $512. And another $900 in mods and I'll be set.

I picked mine up on June 23 at Turner's Outdoorsman in California for $469.00 (Not threaded).

Big 5 and other gun shops were running about $529.00. I haven't been able to find anything cheaper. Hope that helps.
