    Just bought a sw40ve cheap!

    Don't want to brag but I picked mine up for $267 tax included, and had the $50 mail in rebate so I got mine for $217! And I am a part time officer in my county and i carry the sigma more than I do my M&P!

    Sigma and PD Qualification

    This is good to hear considering I will be qualifying with my sigma 40ve on the 7th of August for my local sheriffs dpt. I will be carrying it as my duty weapon while I"m a reserve and can't wait to show those guys how it shoots!

    the serpa for the MP40 fits the sigma 40. I am pretty sure that the one for the mp9 would fit the sigma 9.

    Sigma vs Steyr

    Sigma. You can't beat S&W's customer service (well, at least i've had good luck) and their lifetime guantee. They guantee everything, even their handcuffs which I carry. I actually carry the .40 for my ccw as well as my duty weapon as a reserve officer. I trust my life with it.

    Generic Holster Size?

    Anything that will fit an MP .40 will fit a sw40ve. I just picked up a black hawk serpa and it is made for the mp...fits like a glove. As far as generic IWB Blackhawk has one that is a fabric material that fits the sigma. It is the size 12 holster. I believe it is for 4" barrels.
