    Detroit PD gun picture thread?!!!!

Don't own a PD marked gun but have my Dad's old model 10-5 4" pencil barrel unmarked duty gun. Up here in the wilderness that's called "New England" we don't seem to mark our guns like the big city does. I do find these old PD gun threads most interesting though.

To my friends here... "I regret to inform you..."

My deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your family. May your son rest in peace. His sacrifice will not be forgotten. There is no greater honor than to give one's life for your country.

    S&W Holsters

There are some holster charts in the "knives & collectibles" section of the forum. Should find the info you need there.

Changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington

I always made it a point to take visiting family & friends to see this hallowed ground and those who have the honor of protecting it while I was stationed at Andrews AFB. Very impressive, and a fitting tribute to all who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice. My grandfather was a member of...

    Post-WWII US Military Revolver Holster.

I have that same holster still in the original packaging. It is an issue holster, not a fake. The NSN is 1095-00-973-0521 and the part number is 7791495. Mine is dated 3/85 and shows a contract date of 1984. It is a late issue holster, true, but it is the genuine article.

    Happy Birthday USAF!

I made a similar post in the Vet's Forum yesterday. I'm proud to have served in the USAF for 20+ years and would gladly do it all over again.

    Primers?

I ordered 1K of Magtech small pistol primers on 8/14. They were in stock and I received them today. They also have Winchester 231 powder in stock. Or, did when I ordered them. (I see that the primers are now backordered, sorry!)

WTB- AR15 bushmaster or river rock

Never purchase an AR-15 chambered for ONLY .223, you'll forever regret it if you do. Also, don't purchase one without a chrome lined barrel/chamber. The additional investment is well worth it, believe me.
