These discussions need to be in the lounge. It's been said many, many times before. This is a 15-22 thread. It's getting old.

Shot south approx 100 yds at a metal fence post. It hit it and bounced left to the metal post 50 yds away. Hit it and bounced north back at me. Hit the Keystone Light on the shooting bench. Open sights, CB mini cap ammo. No lie ! I set the 15-22 down and had another Light. No lie !

Spring broke

If you know pretty much where this happened and have a strong magnet, you might get lucky. I have in the past on lost items. Even in the lawn. I have a good one on a rake handle.

I trained on the M1 and can actually say I never got " the thumb". Lots did. What a rifle.

For those that chose to keep their .17 semi, keeping the chamber CLEAN seems to be the main cure. Can't say it's right or wrong, but many are doing this with no problems. It's an ongoing debate. I can understand why companies probably decided dropping the line was the wise option as opposed to...

Semi in .17 has been tried and for the most part abandoned by major names due to OOBs. Also, .17 ammo is beginning to dry up. I still have my Remy semi which was recalled a long time ago.

Try a HC3R mag for your 10-22's. Mine work very well

A bit off topic, but as long as we're talking set screws, they make set screws with teflon type tips. Good for not leaving marks. McMaster is a source. +1 on blue loctite.

Curious here. Is the bore at the end the same dia. as the bore or oversized. With the standoff, do you ever get any bullet splash ?
