My MP9C with the Apex breaks at 3.5lbs after a 1/16 take up
My Ruger Sr1911 breaks at 4.5lbs after a 1/16 take up
So my MP9C is just like a 1911 so much so I had a TS installed
79 and carry a 65-5 3" with Barami hip grip
Easiest to carry IWB and no safety
Goes bang and if not pull the trigger again
If for some unknown reason I would need to carry a hi capacity it would be my CZ 75 BD
I have a Ruger SR1911 and a MP9C with the APEX FSS and Trigger mod
BOTH have 1/16 free travel
The SR 1911 then breaks ar 4.5 lbs
The MP9C breaks at 3.5
Well I used the reduced power on my 65-5 with no problem
But yes I did use the reduced power
I'll try a full power
As it is now the DA is over 11lbs
SA is great at 3.5
An old thread but I bought a model 10-14 and don't like the trigger at all compared to a model 10 I bought in 94 and then like a fool sold it
There is no firing pin like older models and trying to improve the trigger with Wolf Springs gave me over 60% light hits

After having the Apex installed I knew I needed a TS
I didn't want the capability on the right side so the armorer at the LGS took it off and there is no plug
Works OK
Here are pics
I wish I had one instead of my 10-14
S&W ruined a classic with the internal lock but worse with the new firing pin removed hammer
Putting Wolf Spring in and getting a 7.5 pull resulted in light hits
I had to go back to the stock 11 lb pull
