WTB: Leather Shoulder Holster for 6" K Frame

I'm looking for a used leather shoulder holster for a 6" K Frame S & W Model 14, Right hand shooter. Age doesn't matter, condition does. Thanks a lot for your consideration.

WTB Quality Holster for 5" 1911

I know this is a stretch but if you have a right hand draw Andrew Leather Palmer Practical and/or a Milt Sparks Axiom for a 5" Colt Government w/o rail let's talk. Thank you.

    Great Movie on tonite-Jeremiah Johnson

As a young man growing up in New Jersey I saw Jeremiah Johnson in the movies; I went back five times to see it in the movies. Shortly after that I moved West. Either last year or the year before I went to the Cody Museum, entering the gun collection portion of the museum there was one display...

    Review 43C, 351C, LCR 22 snubbies

Update on my 43Cs...I'm "torture testing" one that I keep in the truck...just doesn't come in for a cleaning and every weekend it gets a couple of hundred rounds through it. So far no complaints. Still shoots to point of aim.

27-5 Outnumbered? Now with Letter & new pics

It might prove interesting to get a letter from Smith based on the serial number if they indicate this revolver was originally designated to be part of the 500 September revolvers they were configuring for Ellett prior to the deal going bust, though that might be a stretch. And I doubt that...

27-5 Outnumbered? Now with Letter & new pics

Sounds like one of the unfinished "Twelve Revolver" series that Smith entered in with the Ellett Brothers. The Model 27-5 was the September edition named "Outnumbered" which on the completed revolvers appeared lazer etched on the right side of the 7" barrel. Or maybe your gun was put in the box...

    Round count and wear

Three years ago, I think, I set out to shoot 36,000 rounds through my 617-6 10 shot...I made it to 30,000 rounds and quit. Shooting 500 rounds every Sat & Sun is not condusive to a happy home life. Anyway that revolver is so over built that I doubt you could shoot one "out" in your lifetime...

    Review 43C, 351C, LCR 22 snubbies

Due to the illness many suffer here I am mildly ashamed to admit I have two 43C revolvers. Both have in excess of 500 rounds down their short weird barrels. They live on a diet of Federal value pack walmart ammo and shoot to point of aim. No problems in function in either. I have noticed the one...

    Ammo for S&W Model 43C

I've been shooting Federal Bulk Pack from WalMart, about a 1,000 rds now. It shoots to point of aim right out to 50 yards (4" disk). I'm getting 1 inch groups at ten yards with this stuff. I'm afraid I don't have experience with other ammo.

    Guns You Over Paid For

I paid $599.00 for the first 43C I saw after two years of waiting, then I won one on an auction for $499.00 thinking it would help mitigate the cost...works out I'm happy and their terrific little shooters and still too pricey. Four years ago I paid $500.00 for a 1970 Marlin 39 Century NIB and...

    Tough Decision

I inadvertently have both on order and suspect the LCR22 is the more "shootable". This purely subjective & untested opinion is based on shooting the Ruger's .38 LCR which I found, for my hand, so much more eager to shoot and get on target than any J frame with whatever grip I've tried on a...

    Ruger LCR 22

I just "buy it now" buttoned a 43C on gunbroker...I just also got my confirmation ship notification that the LCR22 is headed toward me...great now I'm in credit card debt. Thank God I have a job, or, well, at least I had one when I came home today. The LCR22 was 420.00 the Smith 599.00. I know...

    Ruger LCR 22

I ordered mine from BW Outfitters in Adair IA on Saturday off Gunbroker out of frustration over awaiting the the S&W 43C (for almost two years now). I'm still waiting for their shipping confirmation, they have my credit card and FFL. Must be the Christmas rush, lady told me they are a...

    5.11 shorts

Patagonia Stand Up Shorts are pricey but the front pockets will consume a S&W J frame in a Blackhawk pocket holster and still allow you to put your hand in the pocket without any kind of "print".
