I bought the Blackhawk Sport Tactical Carbine Case. Cheap well made looks good and your gun will fit with a scope.
Here's a video. https://youtu.be/50rMBbsR4GQ
This is a great choice. Pick it up in 357 and shoot the +P .38spl defense round. Heavy enough that the recoil of a 38+p won't be bad and it an accurate gun. Someone mentioned the Sig P250. I have one in 9mm SC, its a great gun and an easy one to get good with. It's my CC of choice.
Cleaned after every trip to the range in the Army never saw a reason to stop. Just makes ME feel better. It's your gun do what YOU feel is appropriate.
I bought a new VW Passat that way. A 2009 Merc wouldn't bother me as long as it came back with a clean car fax and maybe a couple of other car check services. Dealer rep would be the next thing to check. Lots of pictures. Many people buy cars long distance anymore.
It all depends on your eyesight. Lot easier with a red dot at 25 than trying to line up everything through iron sights and bi-focals. Red dot is much faster and repeatable than iron for me.
This sounds like a line from a sit-com. I honestly thought it was sarcasm and pretty funny sarcasm. Then reading further I just went to, "For real". "Come on". Drop on your noggin from 4 to 5 feet onto concrete and you might not wake up. I wouldn't even have thought to have asked for a new sight...
I just did this with my Sport and a Bushnell TRS-25. The TRS wasn't even on paper till I adjusted it using the rear peep looking through the red dot to the front post. Adjusted the dot till it was on top of the post. Fired 3 shots and it was about 5" low and 2" right. Couple more 3 round groups...
Just passing on a price. It's their store they can sell what guns they want and you can chose not to go there if you don't like the policy. Freedom of choice, yours and theirs. For me too good a deal to pass up.
