Can the slide be milled for an optic cut on a Shield 9 1.0 and keep the rear sight intact?

Checking to see what options (if any) are available to mount an optic on a 6904? Mill slide, ect.

Shoot them, I shoot both 6904 and 6906. I found out my point of aim with these handguns like 124gr or 147gr vs 115 gr.

My Hidden Hybrid IWB holster for a Shield 9 is my favorite, very comfortable (all day) & concealable, has 2 adjustment screws for tension, similar to Crossbreed and Galco Kingtuk holsters. They have other holsters too. Forgot to note, live in the College Station, TX area...

I have S&W 6906 and 6904. The 6904 has an import marking on the barrel. Is the 6904 and 5906 basically the same gun? Thanks?

I have a M&P9 Shield that would like to mount a red dot. I bought it a couple years ago, Type: PISTI on the box, not sure gen, has manual safety. Is there a red dot sight available to slide in the rear dovetail? Thanks!

5906 I was shooting my 5906 yesterday with WWB 115 gr. As others posted, group was low to POA. Next time at the range, going to try some Winchester Ranger 124gr.

Are there any aftermarket options to change out the mag release on the 5906, ambi or ? Thanks in advance!

6904 touch-up I recently purchased a 6904 with minor holster wear, not a purist, cleaned wear area with mineral spirits and followed up with a medium sharpie marker. Worked for me, whether it holds, time will tell
