    3rd Gen Swag!

I bought a stamped tin sign with that exact picture on my wall by my safe. It was only $8.

    Stainless 9mm... MUST have one.

A nice compact S/S semiauto is a 3913. The frame is alloy and the slide is stainless so it's light. Probably the best S&W compact ever made. I highly recommend it.

    Barrel for s&w 439 NEEDED

Does anyone know where I can buy a barrel for a S&W 439? Every place I found was either not available or discontinued. My 439 barrel is defective where the recoil rod sits in the detent in the barrel for re-assembly. It makes it a "bitch" to re-assemble. Any lead to a new or in good condition...

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS OF THE E1911

I too, have a S&W E-series 1911(see avatar). It is a pleasure to shoot. I own three 1911's. A Colt XSE commander, a Desert Eagle Commander size and the S&W full size. I like them all but the E-series is my favorite. You will be pleased with one. I have 3 S&W mags and 6 ACT mags. All function...

    39-2 vs 915

WOW sevens! That was a looong write up but thoughtful. I've owned many S&W autos over the years but I always seem to come back to the First Gens. They just have an appeal to me that no other pistol has. I've been shooting and collecting guns for more than five decades now and just recently...

    Daughters - who's got 'em?

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I have a daughter born in 1976. I brought her up by myself, (long story) and she is a wonderful person and a great Mom!. I have three outstanding Grandsons now and she is still my most favorite person in the world!!! She is the treasure of my life and my best friend!

1965, Has it been 50 years?

Damn guys, I graduated high school in 1970! I was a drummer in a rock band and I remember all those things! I joined the Air Force in 1972. I must say, those were the "best of times". I still enjoy shooting, collecting firearms, music (rock and blues) and a few cold ones!

    Name the TV program

I Loved the Red Skelton show! I wouldn't miss it for the world. I liked it more than Gleason an Berle. I agree the Pledge of Allegiance should be watched by every person in this country, including members of the Senate , HOR and the President.

    Found a S&W 19-5 Nickel

Update to this Model 19 Nickel...WOW!! I finally picked it up and took it to the range. It was never sighted in and everything was tight like a new one from the factory. Shot a little to the left and low. Once I adjusted the sights to my liking. It was an absolute pleasure to shoot. The...

    Found a S&W 19-5 Nickel

I sold all my revolvers a while back and had nothing but semi-autos. ( I've been shooting, buying, trading and selling for five decades). I had that itch to refill my revolver void so I went shopping. I found a S&W model 19 Nickel with magnum grips in pristine shape. The story is, the Grandson...

Tried to go to the range......

Nice looking Camaro, Sir! I just love late sixties early 70's muscle cars. I had a 70 Plymouth GTX "Limelight" and a couple years later bought a 70 Roadrunner in Aqua Blue. Both had 440's under the hood. I miss those days. I was a drummer in a local rock band and had a bunch of friends with...

I'm old enough to remember when ...

I remember going to a candy store (Soda fountain and malt shop) with a quarter and walking out with a small bag overflowing with candy. Gas was 25 cents a gallon when I cut yards for money with my Dad's mower. Taking my Dad's 12Gg shotgun to school for "Show and Tell". Going Trick or Treating...

    John Wayne-Liberty Valence Question

I love the movie! I have it on DVD and watch it a couple times a year. I am a big John Wayne fan and have many of his movies. Big Jake, Rooster Cogburn, War Wagon, True Grit, Fort Apache and others. Another good actor in The man who Shot Liberty is the guy who played Mr. Peabody. Eloquent editor...
