A nice compact S/S semiauto is a 3913. The frame is alloy and the slide is stainless so it's light. Probably the best S&W compact ever made. I highly recommend it.

Does anyone know where I can buy a barrel for a S&W 439? Every place I found was either not available or discontinued. My 439 barrel is defective where the recoil rod sits in the detent in the barrel for re-assembly. It makes it a "bitch" to re-assemble. Any lead to a new or in good condition...
