I had a Glock 22 I was never happy with the recoil impulse on and got rid of it. I picked up a Sig P229 for cheap and that is like night and day compared to the Glock. Better recoil and, to me, better grip feel.
I have one I bought about 8 years ago and I don't think I have ever had any problems with it. I haven't shot it in a while, but I still like it. It is the reason that I bought a 9mm Full size a year later.
There are two guns that come to mind that I would like to have
H&K P7
Ruger 44 Magnum Carbine.
The Ruger I have held several but for some reason or another did not acquire, but it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.
I've shot Federal bulk, Winchester bulk and CCI Minimags from my full size M&P 22 and I can't remember when I've had a FTF or a FTE with any of these. It has even run good on Remington Golden Bullets.
I have a mid '80s one I bought a few years ago. I really don't shoot it enough and I was thinking about selling it... until the last time I took it to the range. Even with iron sights and my less than stellar eyesight i was drilling the center of the target at 25 yards.
