the Model 13 is a wonderful revolver.
A fixed sight K frame, not much different than the 19, a gun which many think is the finest ever. (there are other differences)
Enjoy that fine piece of craftsmanship.
I am still on the hunt.
Not willing to pay the crazy prices.
But the rimfires seem to be coming back.
:)
Again, thank you for the clarification. I will not worry if I come across a "compliant" 15-22.
When I get it and put a can on it....look out squirrels!!!
*dumb question alert*
Just to be clear, a "compliant" 15-22 has the 6 position adjustable stock pinned.
While reading this I couldn't discern if the "repinning" was just to maintain legality in a restrictive state or the stock needs to be repinned so as to stay in a particular position.
Sorry...
Dan,
Thank you for the kind words.
The deal is not complete. But I am very excited at the prospect.
Thank goodness that the gun culture is unlike other areas of our society. Generally our "royalty" are regular guys.
Dwalt,
I am going to start marketing 1911s for Hayes Custom Guns and need to own a couple. (who would trust a guy who doesn't use what he sells?)
Aaron Hayes is a GREAT 1911 mechanic. Learned his trade at Clark Custom (his uncle). He does his test targets at 50 yards and if they don't shoot...
Feel free to flame away....I can take it.:D
A while back I bought a 38/44 transitional (I think...S65704)
While high on the cool-factor I am just not an "N" frame guy.
I was contemplating selling it and spending that cash on a custom 1911.
My question for you guys, how much would you accept...
on the inside of the grips, where the "D" is located, they look to be sculpted for the exact shape of a S&W. Just guessing but I would try them on a K frame.
