I can't speak to the two that you mention, but I am very happy with my Hidden Hybrid IWB holster for my Shield Plus PC 3.1 barrel.

My front sight did not break, but I did replace it with a Trijicon night sight which I like even better.

I like fiber optics also, but I put a set of Trijicon night sights on my Plus PC and boy do I love those. Better than FO in my opinion.

I've got a Shield Plus PC with a ported barrel and like it. But I've never shot the same pistol unported for a comparison. So it's hard to say for sure, but I would think it has to help some. Mine has the 3.1 inch barrel and I can shoot it just about as well as I do my larger pistols.

I'm having a hard time admitting it, but I seem to be more accurate with my striker pistols than my hammer fired. Didn't expect it to be that way, but it is.

Why was it so expensive? Do you live in the US?

Nice. Glad they're working for you. I found the front green sight a little too small for me and replaced the fiber with Trijicon night sights.

Thanks for your reply, but shooting from my pocket was not what I had in mind. Now mind you, I have not taken a concealed carry class yet (taking one this Saturday), but from watching YT videos my understanding of 'shooting from retention' is shooting one handed just after clearing the holster...

Thanks luvsmiths. I do like the ported barrel though. But just realizing that it could be a problem if I had to shoot from retention.

I've got a Shield Plus PC (ported barrel) version that I really like and carry. I'm still fairly new to carrying and I guess hadn't thought through the ported barrel scenario and possibly having to shoot from retention. So I'm thinking that an un-ported barrel might have been the better...

One of the videos that I watched last night showed that the trigger does not slide straight back like a 1911. It tilts a tiny bit like it's hinged at the top. I was sort of interested until I saw that and the heavy pull. I'll take a look when I can but don't think I'm a buyer.
