    It's hard to lose a special friend like yours. I lost my best buddy, Butter in May. Best cat I ever had. Hopefully time will make it easier to bear.

    Rock Island 1911

    I have the cmdr. size .45 and could not be happier with it. Have shot about 1000 rounds through it and have had no issues. You may want think about changing the grip panels out. They are pretty but don't have texture and can be a little slippery.

    I like the .41 magnum and have more of them than anything else currently. I like having something unusual to shoot and enjoy the search for new or unusual ones.

    I'm with you. If I had that much to spend on liquor, I would buy 4-5 high quality N-frames instead.

    Johnny Walker Blue. Paid $99.00 in about 2001 for a bottle. Had about one drink a year for about 10 years from that bottle. Christmas or special occasions only, of course. I think it goes for about $250.00 now.

    Years ago, while attending a military school in the area, a classmate invited me to go with him to meet some of his old friends assigned to the 3rd IN assigned to the Honor Guard. I was privileged to get a somewhat "behind the scenes" tour of the area and meet some of the soldiers and NCOs...
