    KSD Wood grips arrived

I bought a set of P7M13 grips from them that I love. I intend to buy several more grips from KSD. Right now, I'm waiting for them to start making 4506 grips again, with the curved backstrap. That will definately be a "Buy Now." P.S. shipping was MUCH cheaper on their E-Bay site ($2.99) and...

    KSD wood grips: great service

Just sent and got a reply by e-mail (06/03/16) from KSD. They advised they will be restocked in about 5 days. Disclaimer: I have no connection or financial stake in KSD products. Just a satisfied 1st time customer, who intends to buy more product when available.

    KSD wood grips: great service

March 15th I ordered a set of grips for my HK P7. Took about 3 weeks or so to get here. Fit and appearance was outstanding. More than happy. If things have changed, I'm sorry as I intended to purchase more. I see they're back on Amazon....Good luck.

.38 Airweight Exposed Hammer or Shrouded Hammer

I carry a Colt (Gasp!) Agent with a bobbed hammer. Best of both worlds; no snag, yet can still cock, if necessary (Really, not likely).

    Trigger stop rod or pin

The K-frame screw mounted trigger stops were a known problem back in the mid 70's with Law Enforcement Departments having their armorers remove them. This is my recollection from the Oklahoma City area. I believe the problem showed up on the range and not in a critical situation. I do remember...

    Model 69 Range Report

It's only money..... ;) But then I'm quite happy with my Old School 29-2 and my 696 44 Special. That 3 inch 44 Special is "close enough" to a 69 for my purposes.

    929 9mm - No Moon Clip Experience

No experience with the 9mm revolvers, but have a Model 25-2 45acp I've owned for 30 years. I have shot this pistol with both half and full moon clips and at times with no clip. Shooting GI ball, most of the time just opening the cylinder and shaking it would drop the empties. If any failed to...

How Would You Test Your Ammo

frame defect model 66 no dash

As usual, there is often a kernel of truth in seemingly outrageous statements. In a post above someone told somebody that firing 357 Magnum loads after a long and steady diet of "light target loads" could be dangerous. BS? Not necessesarily. Shooting a large number of 38 Specials in a 357...
