I wasn't quite sure how to phrase the question so I may have not searched properly for a common question....but...... With their being a hollowed section in the rear grip of the 15-22, are there any companies who make anything to plug it up? Making it useful for storage. Thanks in advance.

I've been looking at rrages and thought of possibly this combination. NC Star 4 Reticle Red Dot Sight with Riser Scope Mount For AR15

I've thought about a magnifier in the future, I was just unsure of roughly what kind of distances a red dot could cover, effectively, versus a magnifier.

Ok, that makes sense. Now my next question is, what kind of high mount should I look into that doesn't look so stupid? The one that is attached on the link is hideous...surely there are more aesthetic pieces.
