Recently purchased new 460XVR with 10.5" barrel. Does anyone have any ideas on how to mount a bipod to this barrel? The sling swivel hold is drilled into the bottom of the barrel and does not protrude down as a typical stud. I have not found a bipod to mount to this type of configuration.

See if the mothership - AKA S&W - can give you the thread size and then see if you can get a stud in that size thread. Just my $0.02.

For those with hole drilled through the barrel sleeve I use a standard Harris bipod.
