Dead end designs

By the way, ever heard of the S&W 35 Auto? Very collectable, but nobody wanted them when new!

My ex's mom had one, never knew what became of it, but I thought was a super-cool little pistol. I actually had a letter printed in Guns & Ammo back around 1983 or so, asking for more information on it.

Not to be mean or rude, but this is important.....why? I mean, yes, it's essentially true, but why even think about it when there are so many really important things to discuss. :D

Yet, despite your view of the topics lack of value, you still took the crime to comment.

I took Yoda's comment to mean, with all the great stuff out there, why is anyone worrying about stuff that 'failed'; IOW, why waste time even thinking about that?

The (GIANT) 1859 Remington 28mm Revolver by Ryszard Tobys comes to mind...

Cheers!

P.S. "He ain't heavy, Father... He's my revolver!"

We should distinguish between designs that were successful in their day but are now seen as too complicated, awkward, etc and ones that were market failures.
