MEMES

'57 Chev had the gas fill behind the drivers side tail light assemble. Sometimes the opening lever would freeze...Made fueling interesting..

VW - Windshield washer fluid powered by the air in the spare...

50's model pickup trucks - Fuel tank in the cab behind the seat...

My '66 Chevy C10 still had the gas tank behind the seat.

Jeep - Fuel tank under drivers seat...

Some oldsters had a lever above the windshield to operate the wipers...

Chrysler(?) with 3 on the tree and auto shift...

Chrysler products had a three speed manual transmission coupled with a torque converter. You could put the transmission in third gear, dump the clutch and crawl away. Especially if your Mopar had the flathead six engine. :)

Pushbutton transmissions...

What turn signals? Seem to be replicated on many of today's autos...

Inside door handles? When did that happen?

Adding 10 charactors even though I inserted more than that.....

I'm going to have to think about Brian and his hydrant for a bit.:confused:

Brian is a photo of a homely looking kid and apparently is used in pop culture across the social web to state the obvious as in "Don't be like Brian ___________."

Most children are under peer pressure and avoid association with the unattractive/awkward kid in the room. Thus, Brian is that example and widely used.

However, the post in question is a sarcastic play on that theme.

Take all of this with a grain of salt.

Meet Brian...

Don't Be Like Brian!

💡 I was wondering about "Brian" too. Another similar name-meme would be "Karen".

I'm no "Brian" but I do clear the snow in front of the mailboxes with my tractor for the benefit of our mail carrier :)
