My wife follows the royal family. She's not retired yet, so I often forward stuff I see to her email so she can look at it when she gets home from work. The UK papers (and a couple of US news sites) are going absolutely nuts about what seems to me to be a trivial, nit-picking affair. I have trouble thinking anything beyond "So What" and "Get a Life", but this affair seems to be a real crisis for our cousins across the pond. The way the journalists in the UK are approaching it, you'd think they think they're Woodward and Bernstein of Watergate fame.
People lose their collective minds over the weirdest, most trivial things. They are essentially lambasting Princess Kate for doing what three-quarters of the moms on Facebook already do - edit, crop, add a filter (or whatever) to their kids' pictures to make them look just a little bit better when they post them. This is where they choose to draw their Line In The Sand???
