Any suggestions on what ammo tends to work better in these guns? I know they are considered to be "finicky". Thanks!

OP .455_Hunter Member Joined Jul 26, 2007 Messages 1,586 Reaction score 2,152 Location Front Range of Colorado May 25, 2025 #4 Well, initial testing after a full lube went well: 5+1 rounds of 40 gr Federal Gold Medal Match standard velocity = 100% operation. 5+1 rounds of 40 gr Federal Lightning "normal" high velocity = 100% operation. Definitely snappier with the warmer round. More to follow... Last edited: May 25, 2025
