I'm getting ready to reload for my new toy, LNIB First Edition 10mm Double Eagle. Nice gun. First 9 rounds with American Eagle 180 FMJ did a 3" group @ 25 yards, right on top of the front sight. Been awhile since that has happened.

I'm thinking 165 or 180 gr. cast bullets, around 1000-1100 fps.

Any handle pullers out there with there own opinions on what bullet/powder to use? I'm also very interested in what crimp to use. All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's nothing special but I've recently run several hundred of these through my 1006 & 1076. Decent accuracy with 100% reliability but does produce a bit of leading in my guns.

180 grain TCFP (lead) Space Coast brand

Starline brass

Here's a 50 round group shot at 15 yards, standing two hand hold. Flinched a bit and got those two flyers.

I am presently working on a load which will not lead the barrel of a 610 and have found that a cast 180 tc, BH-18, and 5.8 grs of Unique to be close to what I am looking for (no leading).

I am in the last stages of working up a 200gr pb load. I have one more group to fire and will post probably this weekend. I will be using AA-7 with an outside possibility of AA-5. I am using a 1076 for the test shots but I intend to use the load in a Kimber Target as well. I want a fast 200gr load because I want practice ammo which prints close to the self defense stuff.

If that particular piece was LNIB, I'd keep it that way and start a search for a serious Colt collector.
