No 3 Russian serial number help

Finally have this Smith and Wesson No. 3 Russian, dated 1874, SN 4317, in hand. This one is marked “reissue” on the barrel, no idea if it was part of a military contract or a commercial pistol… no Japanese anchor mark. I understand guns that went to Russia have Cyrillic markings, and most commercial ones are marked “ Russian model” on the bbl ( will send out for the letter at some point). Does anyone have the collectors book that details the SNs for these? Thanks for your help!!

It is a commercial model. New Model Russian
"reissues" were in their own serial range.

Curiously, there is a lack of interest on the forum for the early 3's
I thought I remembered there were 9000 in the "reissue" series.
I guess my old brain still gets a spark now and then.
