No markings anywhere that I can see. Beautiful checkering and shape. Very nice work but I don't know who did them. Any help is appreciated. They are shown on a pre 27. I bought them because they are a great compromise between a full target size grip and service stocks.

These fit my mitts better than any other grip or grip plus adaptor that I have held. They have a few flaws, but I like'm. So who made them?

I'll add that with a bit of file work I think I could tighten the gap that shows in the pics on the front of the grips...I mounted them up and snapped the pics without really trying to "fit" them.

And a pic of the gun to show off the grain. Walnut?

Already on page 2...perhaps a moderator could kick this over to the 1896-1961 forum for a go round?

It does have nice glamour pic of a pre-27... :)

Lovely feather-crotch walnut, and interesting overlap on the front strap.
Maker? I have no idea... but nicely done.

Since there are already several threads regarding stocks...I'd like to push this one back up for another look. Any thoughts on who made these?
