I have posted this mint .357 Magnum before. When a pair of extremely rare Tuskoid stocks by S&W was listed on ebay I purchased the pair for this Magnum. They are shown in the photo below. I, like quite few collectors, have a demonstrated weakness for rare and unique stocks and these are no exception. I have only seen in person one other pair of these stocks and pictures of a couple more. Apparently, the stocks are made of celluloid. Click on the photo for a better look.

awesome .357 Magnum Bill, and kudos on the buy. those are great stocks.

...Apparently, the stocks are made of celluloid...

I can hear that RM asking "Do these stocks make my butt look fat?" ... Oh yeah, that is cellulite that makes your butt look fat...;):D

In all seriousness, fun stocks on a beautiful .357. I'm glad they landed in your collection.

Question: is the checkering in the stocks molded or does it appear to be cut in a solid block, just like the wood ones? I would love to see a few more close ups of the stocks, front back, etc... if you get a chance.

For years I have rummaged through "junk boxes" at gun stores and gun shows. I can't help but wonder if in that time I ever passed over a pair of "Tuskoid" Stocks thinking they were just cheap plastic knock-offs. :(
