Stocks from Thailand

Well, I have no direct experience with that vendor, if the grip encloses the frame completely that it is absolutely feasible.

The split pin and flat bottom of the frame should keep any movement inside the grip panel to a minimum, if well made.

There are factory Smith wood grips for the J frame that are suitable for both round and square butt, as they enclose the frame.

I read some of the feedback and at least one customer said he needed to shim the grip to fit his round butt.
Jaruwan p sent pics of grips he has in stock. All Square butt conversions. I tried pinging vitoonmaker on eBay. He's out until June 30. Anyone have experience with tonwoodd.n? A relative newcomer (2022) has good feedback and nice looking grips.

Ebay has been the best place to get in touch with Vitoonmakers in my experience, and when he's in he's pretty quick at replying. I have seen round butt N-frame stocks in his Ebay listings before.

Yeah, I saw when you mentioned that. I just meant that when he's in he's pretty responsive. I asked a question and he got back to me within the hour once.

No worries. I'm just trying to decide where to purchase and June 30 is a little late for me to wait.
Could you please provide your eBay ID so that I can review your message? Actually, I strive to respond to all messages within 24-48 hours, excluding Sundays. The June 30 announcement is an automatic answer that I established because there are so many queries every day and my reaction will be a little late. However, I will definitely respond to every communication. Thank you.

Been a long time lurker, but I figured now is as good of a time as any to chime in... I've purchased 6 sets of grips from Thailand/Vitoonmakers and they make excellent grips. The boot grips and combat grips for the K/L frames fit my hand far better than the Altamonts. I'm not sure why Altamont makes the contours the way they do but alas... both the boot grips and the combat grips provide zero radius to get that middle finger to settle in to the top of the front strap. That "shelf" is bit much too, it makes the grips too bulky at the top of the front strap. The Altamonts force the hand lower on the grip, not good. The Vitoonmakers grips have a radius at the top and let my middle settle a bit higher on the grips. I have 4 different styles of their grips now (all K/L frames), and I can't say enough good things about them. Quality is very good, pricing is good, response is good, shipping is good, fit and feel are great... there isn't anything to complain about. Buy with confidence.

Love my Thai grips, fit great and better then the Altamonts I bought.

For what it is worth, I received two days ago and set of smashed round butt grips from Thailand. My third set ordered, but got destroyed in shipping. I contacted seller and a new set has already been shipped. I have also been offered a discount for next order. Not the seller's fault at all, I have ordered from him before and will again.
