It's had some hard times as the outside finish shows but the bore and chambers are perfect, the action timing is right on the money both SA and DA. Just a bit of end shake that I'll fix up. It's a 6 1/2" barrel lenght which I kind of like. Ser# dates it to '56 according to the book. Everything matches, even the grips. Just a shooter or a good base gun for a custom project. Didn't really need it but for $250 I thought I might save it from the soft buffing wheels & hot blue tank I knew it was headed for.

Nice save. I would like to do some charity work like that for $250. You deserve a humanitarian award!

That is a great looking gun. Lots of character. It's a working gun and it shows. Nice find.

A mechanically sound pre27 for $250...I'd buy those all day long. Nice grab.

I'd have grabbed that so fast at that price the sound of cash leaving the wallet would have been one big wooosh!
That's what a revolver should look like.

Man, that looks like one great field use revolver to me!! I agree with SaxonPig, cash changing hands would of burst into flames from air friction!

I agree with Saxon,"that's what a revolver should look like."
A shooter should be a gun that your not upset if you put (another) scratch on it.
