I found a listing that if I could even get a ballpark value on what would be a fair price would be helpful, I wasn't really looking for this but it got my interest up. I unfortunately am unable to show the photos nor do I have a serial so I don't expect much but here you go.

The seller notes it as being a "Texas Ranger Version" doesn't mention dash but I assume it to be a -3 M 19 P+R with what appears to be the simulated gold Texas Ranger commemorative seal. It is the gun only no case or knife, and frankly what most appeals to me is the price seeming to be fair, the photos an easy 95%. $750 to get it home. Is this a fair to good deal in fellow members opinion. Don't get me wrong I have no issue with the Texas Ranger part of the deal but I typically don't buy commemorative revolvers. I will take any feedback available.
Thanks in advance

That sounds like a fair price if it is in decent shape. The Texas Ranger stuff doesn't detract from it being a P&R pre-lock very nice and shootable Model 19.

The Texas Ranger model 19s are all serial numbered between TR1 and TR10000. Knowing the serial number would not give us any additional information

Of the 10,000 Texas ranger commemorative model 19s produced, 2,000 of them did not include the matching serial numbered knife.

While it is a commemorative revolver, since it is missing the presentation case it has lost some or all of it's collectability. It is a 4" shooter in 95% condition.

In my mind, purchasing a model 19 shooter for $750 is a bit much. Now it does have the narrowed trigger guard and the Texas logo and roll marks so it is a bit cooler than other model 19s. Not to mention that Pinned and Recessed revolvers just have a great nostalgic look.

Kernel, of the 8,000 Texas Ranger commemorative model 19s that did include the matching serial numbered knife, 50 were master engraved by Smith and Wesson.
