For those of you fond of LE duty handguns I thought I would share this well used Model 66-1 from Sept, 1980.

Lots of honest wear but after 43 years, still has its dual relieved GA target stocks.

Seems to have gotten a lot of attention at the factory as it has six fitter stamps and I'm used to seeing only three.

That is a beautiful revolver. I collect old police guns and it took me years to find one from the Wisconsin State Patrol. Nice find. Tressure it always

If tools like that are issued regularly, I can understand why so many Red Blooded American men are applying for LEO jobs. I myself went after the M14 option.

I had a Virginia State Police one, like it, except it was in a glass front presentation case with some other bits and pieces. I forget now what. I sold it to a Virginia State Trooper who was tickled to get it. I'm pretty sure I never shot it, and doubt anyone else ever did.

Beautiful gun, as they all were.

I have the same gun but from the Iowa Highway Patrol. Bought it in Oklahoma. I was actually able to talk to the officer it had been issued to many years before since I have relatives working in the department that remembered him.
