Model 29-4. That I DO know. 3 inch barrel, smooth, non-fluted cylinder. Made '88 to'90. Read a few ads saying there were only 2500 or 3000 made. Don't see a lot of them around, especially in snub nose. Seen prices from the high $500's to $1895 ("Marked down from $2295").

Looks like it isn't the 29-4 3" but the 4" that has been shortened.
