Anyone know what company produced a rubber (gripper-like) grip that had an image of a cowboy riding a bucking bronco on the side? I saw it on a square butt k frame model 13.

Thanks

That might be Mustang grips.

Did Mustang make rubber grips? I think Mustangs also only had an image of a bucking horse (no cowboy).

I have two pair of them - J and N frame
The J frame is for rd butt and it is stamped "RFSA" on the inside.
There is no screw for the two pieces - they snap together and are held by rubber tits.
The N frame are sq butt use a screw and the rubber tits combined. The strange thing is that there are initials "RFSE" stamped on inside.
You have me wondering who made thes now!

PS - these have the cowboy and the bronco and both are two pc fingergroove

Mine is stamped S&W K Frame RF S.D.. It is also a rubber two piece with the tits, but there is also a screw to hold the grip together.

They are Mustang Grips. I have sets for a Colt trooper that is marked
"RFCC Colt MKIII Frame". A couple of sets for N Frames square butt Marked "S&W N frame RF S.E." and a set for a K frame marked "S&W Kframe RF S.D.". I bought 3 of them as new used stock off of Ebay after I got a set on one of my NFrames, the packaging on them labeled them as "Mustang Grips".

They are real "Hand Fillers" much larger than Hogues or Pachmayrs. I wear an 2X golf glove and these grips fill my hands better than any others I have ever used.

I have since removed all of them from my guns to replace with wood combats, but would not hesitate to recommend them as great "goodyears"

Thanks

Thanks for the info. DB was correct all along.

Just a good guess. I recall seeing a photo somewhere (maybe here on this forum) a few months ago of rubber/plastic grips with the cowboy/horse image you describe and the Mustang name associated with them. I, too, assumed Mustang made only wood grips before then which is why I found it interesting trivia to tuck away for later.

...or Rangefield?
