Default Why Did I Wait So Long ?

Finally got a 317-3, the other day. It is exactly what I wanted.
I was looking for the perfect, (for me, anyway), walking-around,
plinking .22. I'll admit I had an aversion to paying more for a .22
than I had for a .38, even though I know that pretty much the
same manufacturing process is used on a rimfire as on a center-fire.
Well, whatever....
Smooth, DA trigger pull, not much different than a 642. SA pull is
really light, just what you need for target shooting. The Hi-Viz sights
are actually easy to see, even with age-impaired vision. The only non-optical sights I've been able to use except for a peep-sight. The
adjustable sights were right on, right out of the box. At 20 feet,
shooting old shotgun shells was easy, one-handed, unsupported.
It is so light, that even my damaged shoulder has no problem
holding it steady. It even fits pretty well in a holster made for
I-frame guns.
Maybe I'll get a neck holster for it like they've got fon mini revolvers.
And finally, thanks to all the members here that posted their own
thoughts and experiences with their 317's. That is what decided me
on getting it. TACC1
