Default It was a long wait

but I finally picked up my M&P40C Saturday. I ordered it about 10 weeks ago.
Test fire date was 3/20/14.

I'm going to put the the DCAEK kit in this week. I'm sure glad I already bought it because that MA trigger is unbelievable.
I also have some Ameriglo sights going on it.
Can't wait to take it to the range.

Congratulations! Love mine.
I'm still waiting on a 638 wheel gun about 2 months also, should have it this week.

If you call S&W and ask nicely, they may send you another pinky ext. gratis!
Or you can pick up 15 rounders and an x-grip if you want the extra capacity at times.

Thanks,
I might try and get the pinky ext. but the 15 rounders are out since I live in MA.
I just installed the sights and DCAEK. Now I just got to get it to the range.
Hope your 638 gets to you soon.

Ask nice and they will send you at least one. I asked, "hey, how do I buy one of those pinky extensions"? Next thing you know it will be in the mail.

The 638? LGS closed today, open tomorrow, fingers crossed!!!

Finally got to the range today.

I love this thing. I just have to adjust my Ameriglo sights, it's shooting a little to the right. I really like these sights they are the pro idot style. I usually aim just under the target with the 3 dot sights, but with these, I notice I have to cover the target with the front sight.

I shot about 30 rounds of Winchester White box and had one failure to feed. I would have shot more, but I wanted to adjust my sights first. And of course, I forgot my tools at home.

I'm use to shooting a 9mm so it has a little more snap then what i"m use to. But it felt comfortable in my hand and easy to control with follow up shots.

The Apex DCAEK is great. I didn't even bother trying to shoot it with the factory MA compliant trigger.

Anyway I can't wait for my next range visit. I really enjoy shooting the M&P40c.

Ordered it? 10 week wait?? I live in MA and they are readily available from all of the major gun shops. .40 or 9 all shapes and sizes.
APEX is the way to go. Put in my 9C and 9 Shield, night and day from the horrendous 10# triggers

It was hard waiting since everyone did have them in stock. But for what I paid for it, it was well worth the wait.

Sounds like you waited for them to build it for you, which is cool. I don't think guns fly off the shelves in Mass as quickly as other states. GARY

I called S&W today and asked how I could purchase one. They just ask for my name and address and told me they would get it out to me.
