Add on metal finger grip?

On this forum is the first time I can remember seeing what appears to me as an add on metal finger grip frame? I spotted them on the "show me your J frame" thread. I've seen aluminum colored and black and it seems they are installed directly in front of the original grip. Can someone give me some info on these?

Are you referring to the Tylers T-Grip?

S&W's with magna grips leave an unsupported area behind the trigger guard. The grip adapters fill in this space and provide a more solid grip on the gun. They used to be $5.00 and hideous looking, but now they add bling to an old revolver and go for $60.00. they work great for some people, me included.

Check out BK grip adapters on this site. They are making a great product, $20 + $5 shipping was the latest I saw.
