For those that have the S&W Governor...

I just saved a boat load of money by going to The Revolver Supply Company:

Here I was able to buy my full, half, and 1/3-moon clips, moon-clip loading and unloading tools, and look at both full-moon clip holders, as well as learn more about the sport aspects of this kind of gear.

I then saved a bunch more money by going to Optics Planet for my DeSantis cross draw holsters:

I saved literally hundreds of dollars tonight by going to these places. Sorry, the S&W Store didn't make a cent, but S&W has sold four Governors, and do have me as customer who will repeat his firearms buys through S&W...

Win-win, in my book...

Hope that these places will help you meet your prepping needs, vis-a-vis, your S&W Governors... Now, all I need are a couple of more cases of .45 Colt, and more cases of .410 2 1/2" Winchester Defense Loads of PDX-1...

Ranch Products makes the blued moonclips S&W supplies with their 25, 325, 625, & Governors - I've bought them for $35/100 delivered directly from them. The nutdriver style demooner is ~$15-$18 from Brownell's, etc - and works great. 10/02 found me trying one of the scissors style - it broke in a week. The nutdrivers work - and stows the empties in the hollow tube. S&W Accessories sources the Hogue/S&W .460/.500 Magnum 'X'-frame backstrap padding monogrip - it fits the K, L, N, & Z frames, too (see below) - $37. While there, checkout the S&W Governor Holster, made by DeSantis or Galco, I can't remember - and I am not ambitious enough to go downstairs to look... sorry. I bought my Governor when I first found one - last June - and found the holster on their website that first day - had it in a week - $75 (... and it has the 'S&W' logo, too!). Lots of sources...
