Help me decide which grips should go on my 586 L Comp. They all function very well, I want to know which you think look best.

Original Altamonts from Factory:

Ahrends Retro Combat Round to Square Conversion in Cordia:

The middle grips, the Altamont Talo grips.

The boot grips look too small on it, and the round-to-square is too square and big. The full size grips with a round butt are the most aesthetically pleasing to my eye.

Im partial to the Factory Altamonts because that is what I have on my 19 K-comp, but I like the Talos also.

I vote for the Ahrends but the Altamounts would be better for carry.

You know what Im going to say... Uncle Mikes combat grips

But since you have to have wood on it, I like the 3 finger Talo grips.

1. I always choose function over appearance.

2. Original has its own attraction.

3. The ones from the Talo are far and away the best looking.

I like the original grips the best. But, I'm partial to boot grips on short barreled carry revolvers.

Here it is with the Ahrends Retro Combat Round Butt in Red Stained Maple. I will probably put the factory original grips on it from time to time when concealment might be an issue, but it will mainly wear these.

The 686 talo grips looked best IMO. The darker cherry with black/blued 586 look sweet.
